Professor Kevin Keene

Computer science professor, specialty in game design and theory.

Kevin Keene’s public life is one of study and athletics. As a teenager, Kevin was an avid swimmer, helping his high school in Northridge CA to a state championship in his senior year. He accepted a full sports scholarship to Northbridge University in 1990 where he began to pursue a new major in addition to his athletics: computer science

He spent the next decade traveling between his hometown and the bustling Massachusetts town working on a doctorate in his field. He is now a tenured professor at the University ( the youngest to ever reach tenure in the college’s history) and remains an active alumni and a popular professor among his students and colleagues.

Kevin also currently coaches the men’s and women’s swim teams for the college.
